Access Maintenance Solutions have been offering a complete range of high and difficult access roofing works for over 40 years. We were originally founded as steeplejacks and have used the skills we learned in that trade to improve our work as a whole.

Although we offer a full and complete range of high and awkward access work, from bird proofing to cut edge cladding, we like to think of ourselves as chimney specialists.

Industrial chimneys in the UK have become a slightly odd entity. Few are still functional, though many still stand.  Some are kept up for nostalgic reasons, others for aesthetic. But some industrial chimneys are protected, and must be kept standing and maintained, by law.

We use various methods to access the chimneys, but, probably due to our background as steeplejacks, we favour ropes. Ropes are incredibly versatile and allow for a large amount of manoeuvrability. This means that we can service all kinds of chimneys: big, small, steel and concrete.
