Accreditations

As part of our continued dedication to delivering the highest possible steeplejack and high level maintenance services across the UK, as well as outstanding customer service, Access Maintenance have worked hard to obtain various industry accreditations.

Below are a list of the current accreditations we hold, or are dedicated to working towards to ensure we offer the highest levels of quality to all of our customers.

  1. CSCS

CSCS is the leading certification scheme within the construction industry in the UK. By holding a CSCS card it proves that you are fully qualified, in both skills and health & safety, for the type of work you do.

CSCS is a not-for-profit company. Its directors are from employer organisations and unions across the entire construction industry. This means that those applying for a CSCS card are measured to the highest standard.

  1. CHAS

CHAS stands for the Contractors Health and Safety Accreditation Scheme. This independent organisations judges contractors on their health and policies, and measures whether they adhere to the necessary health and safety standards for their industry.

CHAS accreditation is difficult to get due to the high standards set for it. However, by having CHAS accreditation it proves that a contractor, like Access Maintenance, can operate in the safest possible manner, keeping both our engineers, and the clients safe.

  1. ATLAS

This rarely seen accreditation is vital to the type of work Access Maintenance carry out. ATLAS stands for The Association of Technical Lightning & Access Specialists. This organisation was formed at the end of the Second World War when there was a huge surge of rebuilding taking place all over the country.

ATLAS has an active committee dedicated to lightening protection and safety & access. Lightening is a very real threat with the type of work Access Maintenance do. In order to attain and keep ATLAS accreditation companies must meet a rigorous set of standards, this includes health & safety, insurance, technical standards and training.

  1. Avetta

Avetta is another health & safety and good practice assesor. They ensure that companies are compliant with with current legislation, check contractor documentation which includes operative management certification and inspect working procedures to ensure that work is being carried out safely.

By holding this accreditation it is just another level of assurance that at all times Access Maintenacne are operating with both client and engineer safety in mind.

  1. IOSH & NEBOSH

IOSH is the largest, and only chartered, body for Health & Safety professionals. They have extremely high standards for accreditation, which focuses on safe practices in the work place.

All the staff  hold either an an IOSH managing safely certificate or NEBOSH construction certificate. This means both staff and clients can rest assured that we uphold the highest principles possible in health & safety. When working with the extremely high access points like we do there are so many variables to consider, but through these certifications we have proven that we are more than capable of the task.
